We are currently looking to hire a Safety Lead. We are committed to excellence, innovation, and the safety of our employees and customers. As a Safety Lead at Elgin Separation Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our workforce and maintaining a safe working environment.

Safety Lead Responsibilities:

• Work in compliance with all applicable local, state, regional, and national laws. Develop and update programs to comply with all applicable laws. This may include environmental, workplace safety, industrial hygiene, fire code, department of transportation, or any other regulation that may directly affect the operation.
• Perform compliance reviews, general risk assessments, JSA, and other safety assessments to support HSE and compliance program management.
• Develop controls for identified hazards / operational risks, support and track the implementation of controls from the result of hazard assessment.
• Identify trends within the site and work with site leadership to put in place actions to prevent incidents/risks.
• Lead detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
• Investigate near misses and High Potential Incidents (HPI) to drive improvement in our health and safety management.

Safety Lead Requirements:

• Proven experience as a safety lead/manager.
• Certified in risk management and health/safety management preferred.
• Valid qualification in occupational health and safety.
• High-energy individual that is self-motivated to build relationships with employees to create an active safety culture.
• Able to identify hazards and have the ability/resources to mitigate them.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards is preferred.
