Production Associate

We are seeking a talented and motivated Production Associate specializing in Linings installation to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

An Production Associate is a professional who uses various methods to complete the assembly and testing of company equipment, products and sub-assemblies. Production Associates are responsible for performing work per work order instructions and/or applicable standards to create safe and durable equipment. This person will also cross-train in other areas of the organization to allow more internal mobility in times added help is needed in a specific department. Production Associates must be familiar with and comply with all safety requirements and protocols for working with mechanical equipment and in a hazardous environment. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. The general responsibilities include:

1) Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings, schematics and/or diagrams.

2) Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for the

effective manufacture of goods. Specific knowledge of assembling linings in equipment is preferred.

3) Must be able to work within a team-based environment.

4) Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with

frequent change, delays or unexpected events.

5) Must be able to safely power up and use specialty tools, hand tools, and power tools.

6) Detects faulty operation of equipment and notifies supervisors.

7) Examines work for non-conformances.

8) Operates safety equipment and uses safe work habits while performing his job function.

9) Communicates with management, production control, quality and other shop personnel for

assignments and to resolve assembly, inspection, disassembly or quality issues.

10) Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and performs basic

preventative maintenance functions on shop equipment.

11) May perform other duties as assigned by management.
