Director of Operations

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Director of Operations to lead and elevate the performance of our Stafford facility. This role is accountable for full site P&L ownership and will drive strategic sourcing, operational excellence, and end-to-end quality. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in supply chain transformation, business process improvement, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

· Own full P&L responsibility for the Stafford facility, ensuring alignment with TerraSource's delivery, cost, and growth objectives

· Develop and execute sourcing strategies across internal and external supply chains, in close partnership with Engineering and global operations to optimize make-vs-buy decisions

· Lead all aspects of daily operations through the Plant Manager, including procurement, planning, logistics, and production support

· Drive process discipline and execution by identifying operational gaps, implementing standard work, and introducing practical tools such as visual management, KPIs, and tiered accountability

· Champion a culture of continuous improvement by embedding LEAN principles, reinforcing quality checkpoints, and collaborating with quality and safety leads to strengthen inspection and accountability processes

· Lead root-cause problem solving across delivery, quality, and throughput challenges with a systems-oriented mindset

· Build and mentor a high-performing team with clear expectations, consistent coaching, and measurable performance standards that promote ownership and accountability across operations

Qualifications

· 10+ years of manufacturing operations leadership, with 5+ years in a site leadership or multi-functional operations role

· Strong background in sourcing, planning, and business management

· Proven experience implementing process improvement in medium-volume, configure-to-order environments

· Hands-on leader who earns trust by doing and following through

· Engineering or technical degree preferred; MBA, Lean, CPIM, or quality certification are a plus
